The shelves consist of three vertical members made of Baltic birch plywood. To make them I rip 1.5″ strips and glue the strips up on edge. I had some Peruvian walnut that I used to veneer the sides of the three vertical members. The shelves themselves are made of walnut with a 45 degree bevel on either end.
