Cone Mills was the last selvedge denim mill left in the U.S. before it closed in late 2017. The White Oak Cone Mills plant opened 112 years ago and provided beautiful quality pieces of denim for many top manufacturers for a century. The word selvedge comes from "self-edge."
To that end, we are offering Tellason Stock -- made in San Francisco, California from 14 oz. non-selvedge sanforized Cone Mills denim. The main difference between Tellason and Tellason Stock is the fact that our Tellason Stock fabric is made on a modern machine rather than vintage shuttle looms.
